ON HONOR ROLL AT TEXAS U.

For Second Semester, Four Hundred
Eighty-One Win Distinction
Announces Dean Parlin

       Three Marlin students win places on the honor roll of the University of Texas for the second semester, (sic)  They are Miss Sarah Ann Llewellyn, John Herbert Barganier, and Ross Franklin Madole, graduates of Marlin High school.
       In the entire list thus honored are 481 in college of arts and sciences, out of 3, 638 students.
       In announcing the honor roll, Dr. H. T. Parlin, dean, said:
       "The purpose of this honor list is to commend officially those students, about one-tenth of the student body, whose grades during the second semester rank them scholastically above the remaining nine-tenths into five-tenth is subdivided into five groups.
       "In constructing this list, account is taken both of the quantity and of the quality of work accomplished by the student as shown by the reports of the instructors."
